Great patchy FG lighting and also picking out the snowy mountainside. The house is crucial for demonstrating size and communicating isolation (well, it is a bit of a schlepp to get there!). Love the misty mystery on the mountain top and the contrast between the white and the warm browns in the FG. The banding of brown white and blue is very nicely proportioned in thirds and suits the landscape framing. A stunner! ![]()
I love the snow and the brown together they are a perfect foil for each other Jeanie! Beautiful!!

You do get about a bit - its an impressive looking place, and the house adds a sense of scale and isolation.
Nicely done!
Michael
Super light with the house giving it great scale, love the mist smashing shot.

Rich we may pass by - we are also off up to Skye again in about 6 weeks.. though if you are climbing, I will wave from the bottom ![]()
Now this one does make me smile. What a cracker.... Not least because I climbed this great mountain as a teenager some twenty something years ago and although there wasn't any snow, the cloud was just the same with the peak just poking through.... Thank you for a lovely reminder and a stunning image!!
