Went for a walk half way up Bla Bheinn on Skye (!!) looking for these falls.. then me and The Rug came back down and discovered that we had walked right past them!
Didn't you hear them, on the way up
Well, Adrian, I was advised I would see them on my left on the way up.
........However the friend who told me this is rather tall.......and I didn't see them from my lower vantage...
Lovely highland landscape.
Hiya and Happy New Year!

Lovely water capture and colour tones.
Superb Landscape shot .
Cracking capture Jeanie. I thought you'd have trained the rug to find falls by now
A most beautiful highland composition, the exposure allowing just enough motion without becoming a mass of milky mush.
Very tastefully done Jeanie and a good vantage point to capture the lovely patterns coming from the water on the rocks in the fg.
Thank you Tilney, Mike, Kath, Sirous, Mark, Mike, Ali, Nathan and Harsharn

........Well Hello Kath or should I say stranger, and a very Happy New Year to you too - good to see you

He did, Mike......but he took me to the big fall, to the top of it.. along a tiny track.. and we were stood on top of a rather long drop! Rather daunting indeed.. put him on his lead it scared me that much!!
Gorgeous shot !!!!.....top quality as always !!
"Your lower vantage" ?????........grovelling around on yer hands & knees again !!.
I'm sure the Rug was enjoying his walk to much to bother you with waterfalls.
Nice little spot this Jeanie.
Great stuff, Jeanie. For me the best cascade is a bit further up but you don't want to hear that and this is a cracker anyway
Gorgeous stuff with the cascade and the glimps of the snowy peak.
Thanks Keith, Les, Alun and Al.
LOL Keith..........shortarse vantage is what I mean of course!
Alun.... found the bigger one but didn't go looking for a photo vantage for it.... never ventured futher up as it was late (4pm sunset time too)..
Looks like you had a fabulous time 'up there' ....
Cheers Lee and Chris..
Chris I had a fab time thanks.. was only a short visit up to Skye from Glencoe to chill.... will be back soon!
Going green with envy
hehe... A week on Skye next time though, not 3 nights...
Now yer just rubbing it in
Best not mention a week booked in Glencoe in September then................
Paul (Morgan)........thank you very much for your User Award.. very much appreciated
Stunning image Jeanie! I bet Rug enjoyed himself as well! The sound must have been quite deafening!
Thank you Maggie. Yes I think he did enjoy it though he was hobbling (Rug-sports injury and getting better now we are home)... The noise was rather loud and wonderful
Thank you Stuart.
That'll do nicely
Yes, I reckon you must be quietly chuffed with this capture, 'tis a beauty.
Thank you Mike
Just superb Jeanie... one of your best yet
