Sunrise across the Allt Dearg Beag towards Marsco at Sligachan, Isle of Skye.
Taken yesterday morning before I decided to pack and head home a day early, in order to avoid the predicted icy roads across the Highlands this morning.
Thank you all for the wonderful support on my last two images.. was thrilled to see how well they had been received when I got home and got logged onto the internet!
Like your comp and the good morning light and tones in this Jeanie
A very fine image of a beautiful place.
This is simply magnificent and surely ranks as one of the best shots I have seen on here (amongst a select few!).

Al I thought they would be bad...glad I made the right choice...
You've captured the light and conditions perfectly in this fine composition.
A great last hurrah from Skye Jeanie. Hope the journey was fine for you, it's been OK on the roads when I've been out of late the gritters up here are bloody marvellous, what a wonderful job they do while we are still tucked up n bed.
Thanks Alun, Cliff and Dougie
Yes they are much more efficient at keeping the roads clear up in the Highlands than back home, Dougie..
