Took a few shots and I could not decide whether I like the portrait or the horizontal shots I captured. The model happily sat and posed without complaint on the post

What an obliging model!
The light here is beautiful too, but I think I prefer the balance of the portrait version with less of the island to the right - in its entirety, it makes the RH side a little "heavy" in my opinion...
The portrait version was the better composition for me, the bird is on the wrong post for this version sadly. But you can't ask it to move, they are of course both very beautiful, who knows what we would have thought without seeing the upright image. Bonnie visit Jeanie, must have been a real pleasure seeing this.
