Female Common Blue Damselfly......The lights a bit harsh, but as it taken out in the field I'm happy with it as it shows all the detail on the mouth parts, something I'd had probably lost if I'd exposed it any other way.....
Thanks for all the positive votes and comments regarding the cemetery series I've recently posted, it was completely away from my more normal work, I think I'll have to try some more from now on Wink

Quite astonishing image, the detail in the head and mouth quite exceptional: excellent considering it was taken 'in the field' and not under controlled studio conditions.
