May I suggest that this sundial will not work perfectly for a while Smile Great photos !! What happens when the lights are turned on in V2 - does the snow just melt or can the glass crack ?

It does not melt until it gets warmer in the air

I don't know about adjustment, Peter, I think it needs a little sunshine Smile. Two excellent captures, showing the conditions you are going to experience for the next few months. Carol

A very good shot Peter but I think you are right, a little adjustment is needed. As usual snow tricks the camera into using the wrong white balance and usual (if you have shot the original in RAW) a change there will set things right.

Fine evidence of the fact that you get proper winters over there. I daren't show these images to my dogs or they would insist on emigrating!

I agree with Andy, changes in RAW will sort this out. If you had enable mods I could have done this for you.

Great shots Peter but if the weather stays like this I think that Dial will be redundant for a while.

The sundial is into its long winter's rest-- I find the lamps pleasing-- perhaps they should be left on for cheer!

Loved your little joke and have to say, going into hibernation seems like a good idea for people as well as sundials!

The sundial has lovely shapes, and the snow has also been very obliging. I can definitely see a sea lion on the topGrin!

Your meter has underexposed this as the whites are strong and the meter attempts to make a grey card reading. Change the white balance should fix it Peter, love the lamps with the tiny touches of colour.

Winter has officially stopped the sun - or so it looks - you are really snowed in.
