Took this shot whilst round my parents house (OLDNIK), it was sitting on a close peg for ages so managed to get a few off. The camera i used was there nikon d70 and 105 macro

thanks for the comments, banehawi cheers for that, i brought a new sony vaio V3M desktop at the weekend and im finding on here they look fine and on other monitors looks a little dark. Your mod looks way too bright, shall have to remember this in the future

My upload is a little too bright allright on second look.

Dont trust your monitor until you calibrate it, - use the histogram as a guide to see if the image is dark or light overall.

Laptops in particular are poor judges of photo quality!

Remarkable shot Luke! You could so easily bring out more detail if you adjusted the levels though and lighten up the dark areas.
