Sorry for doing this, but I got such good feedback yesterday on how to improve this that I said I'd give it a go.
Modified yesterdays upload to lighten the left hand side of the life buoy as suggested. I also lightened the image slightly overall, used curves to increase contrast & remove slight colour cast, dodged & burned, & went around and cloned out all the papers in the grasses.
I got rid of the dodgy border & replaced with this other dodgy border!
Interested in feedback again. Thanks.

Excellent work, better than last post so the effort was worth it!
I'd have been delighted with either of these, but I do prefer this one.
Yes, this one overall looks better to me. Good reworking.
