Sorry for doing this, but I got such good feedback yesterday on how to improve this that I said I'd give it a go.

Modified yesterdays upload to lighten the left hand side of the life buoy as suggested. I also lightened the image slightly overall, used curves to increase contrast & remove slight colour cast, dodged & burned, & went around and cloned out all the papers in the grasses.

I got rid of the dodgy border & replaced with this other dodgy border!

Interested in feedback again. Thanks.

This border is definitely better - adding to an already excellant picture. The colouring is an improvement over yesterday's version.

Great moody in this image, love the lighting and the strength of colour...fabulous sky to match the detail in the FG.
