Another one from the same beach in Fanore, Co. Clare as yesterday's picture.
3-stop ND grad.
All comments welcome.
Lovely feel to this one. Composition works for me
Love the splash of red,
Great tones composition and splash of red
Love the shot, but border is a little too ragged for me.
The lifebuoy makes the shot work.
Not sure about the border though.
Good to hear your thoughts on the border. This one's not going down too well generally....9 clicks from 38 views.
Thanks for the feedback.
Anyone else that looks & doesn't like, please leave honest feedback. (No grudges held ;p).
Great light, but the life ring makes this for me. Since it's the undisputed focal point of this image, maybe it could use a bit more light because the far side is quite dark - spot of fill flash or a reflector?!
Excellent, helpful feedback Chris. Thanks.
nice composition moody
The picture's moody, or I'm Moody? ;p
nice one, like it allot
Personally speaking a simpler border would have been a better choice.....as far as the image itself is concerned, can't fault it. Well done.
Nice atmosphere Trevor and the red of the lifebuoy has good contrasting values...love those grassy sand compositions.
Thanks for the feedback Gwyn & Douglas. I now see that the border was the wrong choice.....looked good at the time. Ah well.
