Derwent water morning

Beautiful.

But it doesn't look quite level. Sloping water?

Lighting & Shadow

Lovely - looks the sort of image Microsoft would use as a desktop wallpaper.

Stowell Street by ade_mcfade

Stowell Street

Clever idea - good use of shooting angle to make a hum-drum scene into something interesting.
Like it.

Very nice. Mono and the contrast level give the pic a nice rugged look which suits the well-worn watch.

W Hotel by jembo

W Hotel

Yes thanks for the advice - I agree and think a little cloning is in order - I wanted to keep the lights in on the right to add a bit more interest/balance.

Three Cliffs Bay

Lovely panorama. Well done.
I know this place so well - and am going there next week. My sister lives just a 5 minute walk from where this was taken.

Monty by jembo

Monty

Thanks for your kind comments - I just took this with my 'new' 5D as a bit of a try-out. I wasn't really trying for anything particular but was pleased with the result. The camera was an ebay bargain. He might be cute and lovely but crikey he doesn't have whinge and whine.

Bronica ETRS

You will be glad you did. I loved my ETRSi. Only stopped using it because our local developer stopped processing medium format. Quality was always excellent.

Surfers2

No comments yet - so I'll add one.
Nice to see a group portrait, and unusual to see one with such dramatic moody lighting shooting into the sun - great use of fill in flash. And whatever you have digitally manipulated adds to the effect.
I like it!

Koenigsjodler by RechitanSorin

Koenigsjodler

Scary. And good to see a landscape with no sky. Great shot, and it looks like it was hard work getting up there to get it.

Rough Seas

Great shot. Just looks a little wonky - nothing a little Photoshop can't fix.

CROPPED...

Great shot, lovely colours - very dramatic. Wish I could get shots like this.

But the water looks wonky. It isn't, but it looks it.

Mona by LourensdB

Cracking tones and quality. Has this been sharpened in Photoshop? Why do pics I take on my eos 600 not come out as sharp as this? Hats off to you!
