A young BMXer doing a bacward somersault over some friends in Victoria Park Hackney.
A composite of shots to make the jump sequence, and cropped to focus on the action.

Very impressive. High quality work and very interesting too. TG
I think you have done an amazing job here, Jeremy, it must have been a lot of work.
Although it's a shame that your sky is burnt out, with no colour, it does tend to be a good background for the action, and it would be a lot of work to put some colour in.
Your BMXer has dark skin and his face is also in shadow, but some detail could be brought out in editing.
You have some space on the left of your image which I think is unnecessary, and a bit more space on the right, the space into which he is moving, would be better.
The cluttered background has been mentioned. There wasn't much you could do about that. You obviously wanted the brave people lying on the ground to be in your shot, and so moving to the other side for shooting might not have been your choice, but it might have provided a cleaner background. Thinking about it, you would expect there to be spectators, it's just that they are standing directly behind the action. I quite like the two lads in white T-shirts, with looks of awe upon their faces, and think they add to the atmosphere.
In my modification I cropped the left and added canvas to the right and bottom.
I lifted the shadows and brightened the image overall, adjusted levels, gave it a touch more saturation, and removed the blue cast.
I cloned out a few distractions that were easy to do, and I think it has cleaned the background up just a little.
Pamela.
