Something quite simple and basic tonight, bit busy with organizing local exhibition.

I found this on the ground while walking through the gardens of a local 'stately home' and couldn't resist slipping it in my camera bag along with a few other cones.

I would have thought it was somewhat early as you say !!....but the trees on our local parkland are heavy with them ???

The kids are gonna have a great time when they've ripened up some more.......Conkers galore !!.Smile
