Wild Poppy

It was trying to rain but, as we have been waiting for about 4-5 years for this field of poppies to flower in such profusion, we were not put off by the rain and thankfully it didn't get too heavy.

The top of the field was mainly poppies but as you went down the field there were more field marigolds amongst the poppies which set the scene beautifully.
