I like this, Jess, you have achieved your aim by following your own instinct rather than somebody else's rules.
It's interesting to compare the appearence of the sunflowers in air with the view through the glass, and how the very top of the windscreen has improved the blue of the sky. Very promising photography.

Yep a good capture. You and your camera have most definately captured the yellow of the sunflowers. As woolybill says 'follow your instincts'. My most succesful image was against all the rules. Remember if you like it that's half the battle and rules are for breaking.
