Photo 366 (66) " Rolling his lunch."
Something slightly different today. People shots aren't usually something that I'd go in for but this guy's hat and sound system caught my eye and when he rolled a fag for his lunch, he became too good a target to miss. Usual very small tweaks in Lightroom and now CS6.
Photo 366 (65) "Vertically inverted."
My daughter, Chloe, showing the world, well, the queue for the bus anyway, her prowess as a gymnast.
Photo 366 (64) "Just horsing around!"
I found this little girl in a field with her Mum this afternoon. She was absolutely full of beans and couldn't keep still. This is one of about thirty shots that I was able to get from the fence, most of which, if not exactly outstanding, are certainly keepers.
Photo 366 (63) "Demolition."
Yet more buildings in town, office blocks, in this case, being removed to make way for goodness knows what.
Photo 366 (62) "Attention."
"Sprocket," watching every move I make.
Photo 366 (61) "Forward-control Land Rover."
You don't see many of these around and sadly, it was an opportunist shot and I couldn't capture it coming towards me because it was in traffic, which didn't clear until it was facing away from me. Can't win them all, I suppose.
Photo 366 (60) "The West Door."
One of the "West doors" at "Priory Church," Dunstable. The church has been there since the sixteen hundreds and although you cant see it here, the stonework around it is pitted with scars caused by musket balls fired at the door during the English Civil War.
Photo 366 (59) "The rules of composition!"
. . . and how not to use them! The "New" Ranger, spotted outside a local car dealership. I guess the ashtrays must have got full in tho "old" one.
Photo 366 (58) "Bow and Arrow!"
Another spring-inspired collection in someone's front garden.
Photo 366 (57) "Twenty five years."
I spent much of this afternoon in the churchyard and the local park, trying out my new (at Christmas) monopod on various inanimate subjects. This one is one of four "sculptures," seemingly produced in some kind of galvanised metal which, between them represent twenty five years...
Photo 366 (56) "Somebody's dog."
It was such a good day today that I spent a lot of it roaming around some of my favoured haunts looking for inspiration and it arrived in the form of two ladies and their cluster of small dogs in the grounds of the Priory Church. Initially, the dogs came to me looking for a fuss, which broke...
Photo 366 (55) "Sharing."
Another bird shot. The recent weather has tricked many of the birds that visit my garden into thinking that spring has sprung with a vengance. In fact, there's a crow nesting in the top of a huge tree next to our school playground and she's already feeding youngsters. The children thi...
Photo 366 (54) ''Watching you, watching me.''
A mobile CCTV camera car on the streets of Dunstable, presumably recording whatever it is that these things record.
Photo 366 (53) "A daf."
The first daf. that I've photographed this year. Chloe, my daughter, found it outside our front door and since I was really pushed for time yesterday (for a lot of reasons) I decided that it would be a suitable offering for a 366.
Photo 366 (52) "White lines."
A white lining truck, which caught my eye in passing.
