last black and white one for a while.
Excellent work .well done,
I don't know whether it's the angle, or the slight burn-out in the corner, but the shoulder is a bit lost. Had the shot been upright, your eye would fill in the blanks, following the line of her hair.
Just a small critique, & not one that detracts from the shot.
I like it, I think Davey's right though and this would be fixed by a square crop taking off the left side of the frame.
I like this just as it is.....love the fact that some detail has been lost....gives it almost a candid feel to it....superbly caught and perfectly processed....
Quote: the shoulder is a bit lost.
See what you mean Dave although, as you say, it doesn't spoil the shot in any way.
An alternative which I think would work would be to remove the strap and leave the whole corner empty.
Just a thought.
With or without our opinions, it's a great shot Kayleigh.
Edit: Just had a look at you pf.
You obviously like this kind of work and you're obviously pretty good at it. Your images are a bit short on votes but don't let that put you off. That's probably because they're not 'mainstream' enough. Don't be concerned.
Keep it up!
