Hi Elliot,
This is a realy first class image.
I've got quite a number of shots of various birds of prey and I know just how difficult it can be to capture them like this.
You say that you spent two hours Photoshopping this. I'd be intrigued to know what you've done to it.
Well done.

Jester.

I've actually forgot the precise detas of how I did the edit
but here is a rough guide;

I cropped the image,
I then cut out the bird in really close detail and then
Blurred the background image and placed the bird back on.
It was my first attempt at using Photoshop elements.
I did receive a bit of help from a friend.

Thanks,
Elliot

Thanks for that, Elliot.

I'd wondered if it had been cut and pasted or if it was perhaps a composite.
Not because it's been poorly done, far from it, you've done an excellent job but because there are a couple in my pf. which have received similar treatment. In the case of mine, I replaced the original backgrounds with a shot taken in my garden.
If this is your first attempt, helped or otherwise, then you've done really well.
I'd be proud to have carried out the work that you've done and to have achieved this result and so should you be.
I shall look forward to seeing more of your work.
Well done,

Bren.

The background was the original one, all I did was
Blurred it a little.
