There are colour bands in the sky, which suggests that this has perhaps been saved at a pretty low jpeg quality. I think because of the lack of detail in both sky and water this would perhaps be improved by a letterbox crop.

Ian, Thanks for the feedback. I know about the bands, I went for a low NEF to JPEG conversion to support upload. I have a cropped version but need an A4 version for a local camera club competition & I was just testing the water so to speak !!!

You shouldn't need to compress it much for upload, particularly with the relatively small number of colours.
