Decided to complete all you'll be seeing of my garden for this year.
V1/2/3: What you see approaching the house.
V4: A white flower ![]()
V5/6: Sweet William
All of these are in the flower bed in front of the house, what's in it is mostly the product of a tub of perennial seeds I bought in Wal-Mart a good few years ago. These shots were all taken about six weeks ago, have tidied it up a bit since then
Many thanks for your C&C's on 'No FLuke' much appreciated. I'm still in catch up mode so if I haven't visited you yet, be pateint I will eventually!
BTW I still find it worth while hitting F11!

What a lovely display they make, Jim: those in V 1 make such a bright sunny show. I'm afraid they would not be looking so good over here given the amount of rain we have had this summer, but they are all thriving with you.......and all from a packet of seed.......what a bountiful return!
Ronnie.
What a splendid array of colours there is in your garden Jim, blooming marvellous if I may say so
Exposure on V4 is superb - white is white! May I ask what white balance you are using? I just discovered the one touch WB on my camera, but it's not always right
Otherwise, I generally shoot eveything in sun, then adjust later, that way everything has the same WB.
Anne
You have a very nice garden, with colourful "old" flower specimens, unfortunately nowadays you see so often only overcultivated, very noble flowers. But the nicest ones are still those our parents and grandparents used to have in their gardens, between beds of carots, potoatoas and kale.
