Out for a cycle in Glen Affric, turned the corner and it was like Dragonfly alley...

Got camera out turned around and they had gone, had to wait around for 10 minutes or so.

The setting is an attractive one but unfortunately the dragonfly is very out of focus,which is a shame.
A sturdy tripod is a must for pin sharp close-up images.

Thanks all, yes justin need to remember to put the monopod in the backpack next time I am out there on the bike ~ the shot was the best of eight.
