Have I created a mood that symbolises Venice. Doesit rate as a Travel Photo?

Its close to a travel photo, and by that I mean something you might see on a postcard. Is that what you mean? Its a nice scene, with a pleasing composition.

A couple of things to improve this. First, that dark blue sky in the middle, evidence of some post processing work, - you need to fix this.

There are converging vertical as you had the lens tilted down, - correct that.

Theres too much of a yellow cast to the shot, reduce yellow.

I have uploaded a mod with these tweaks, - no a big success on the sky, but you might have the original still where you can re do it.

Regards

Willie

This is one of the first images I have knowingly seen from the SD14. Decent postcard type image but there are strange tones and it looks very HDR. Have you used HDR? It's the dark area in the sky that suggests so. There are signs of a little under exposure which has strengthened the yellow cast.

I would brighten things up a bit and don't do whatever caused that dark area.
