Thank you for all the comments on my recent photos of Bonifacio.

The Marine Cemetary (Cimetière Marin) is at the far end of the town, high about the blue sea and facing Sardinia which lays 12 km away.
It is a most unusual and atmospheric place to visit. There are about 300 graves and extraordinarily elaborate mausoleums. It is more like a village ….. a very silent village with streets and small squares covered with wild flowers. This cemetery has a certain romantic charm especially when seen on a sunny day.
