There were some lovely Indian Summer days in September. In a corner of the garden some Lavatera and Rudbeckia looked really nice in the late afternoon sun.

f22 1/200 sec zoom at 70mm natural late afternoon light

Thank you for your comments on the series “Glimpses of Summer”. Very much appreciated.

I’ll put the photos in an album so it will be easier to have another look at them. (I might add a few more in the next few weeks/months.)

I keep coming back to this one for another look (that's messed up your figures...) All three convey white so well by means of soft shadows. Really beautiful, subtle work.
