Thanks very much for your comments and telling which version you prefer. I hesitated between V1 and V3 (taken at 1/15th sec with the camera on my shoe while standing on a flat slab in the middle of the water rushing from the lake. Who needs a tripod?)

Todayís offering was also taken yesterday morning on my way to the lake in a lane leading from Avening to Cherington Lake. I like the peaceful atmosphere created by the snow and the slight mist.

f14 1/80th sec zoom at 38mm cropped bottom and a bit of the handside

Hoping you enjoy this little bit of Gloucestershire.

Keep warm and have a nice evening,

Jean-NoŽl

V2 for me - by cropping the foreground it gives more importance to the sky.

Prefer the crop in #2. The people are in just the right place

A beautiful winter scene which is enhanced by the inclusion of the couple out walking their dogs. V2 is my preference too

Thank you very much. Up-loaded the wrong photo as V1 so I'm glad V2 is your favourite version. JNC

I can see why you wanted to put V2 up as your main image, the crop you have done has made such a big difference.
