Taken on the same day as my last up-load.

After a short walk going down you reach this lovely tranquil and quiet lake. You only hear the running water from the stream and the sound of ducks and other birds swimming on the lake in order to hide from intruders like me. The colours were wonderful and I caught them at the right time as today a lot of them are on the ground.

There are many great walks to be done throughout the year. In this wonderful forest, you are more likely to see a deer than a human being! Bliss!

The sun kept being hidden by clouds but when it shone it was a great strong light (f16 1/50th , zoom at 18mm, polarising filter, monopod natural light + a touch of Photofiltre).

Hoping you like this new image. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment or critique.

Have a good evening,

Jean-NoŽl

This photo appeals to me because of the feeling of tranquility in the scene. I also think the fall foliage is beautiful! If I had seen this I would have had to photograph those cut logs also! They add so much and I think the light hitting them is perfect.

Lovely atumn shot Jean. Colours are marvellous but just in time I think. We have had heavy rain and strong winds for the last two days and most leaves are down.
