This series this week is about a lovely and easy walk deep in the heart of Gloucestershire along the Thames and Severn Canal and the river Frome. It is wild, peaceful and beautiful. There are lots of flowers to enjoy depending on the season.

In Autumn the colours are a treat. Bird songs accompany you along the way and if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of an otter.

V1 is a lovely little lake on the way and the house on its shores. I'm sure you'll want to live there. (f16 1/25th sec zoom @17mm slight crop)

Hoping you’ll enjoy all the photos.

Thank you for your response to my grand-father’s photo taken sometime during WWI. The courage and sacrifice of those men must never be forgotten.

Have a nice day,
Jean-Noël

Three nice landscapes - like v1 the best, but I think I would have cropped it a bit more to zero in on the building at the end a bit more - it seems a bit lost.
