A slightly different view from my last up-load, this time from the top of Swift Hill. The walk to the top is easy and is well worth it for the panorama.
Nearby is Catswood so named as 1000 years ago it was a place where wild cats were found.
Laurie Lee described this wood beautifully in Cider With Rosie.

f16 1/20th sec monopod , natural light, zoom at 35mm

In early November the colours were at their best and the countryside in the Stroud valleys were at their best.

I hope you continue to visit and enjoy my photos.
Thank you for your comments on my recent photos

Have a good evening,

Jean-NoŽl

Beautiful scenery. I like the brilliant colour in the foreground then fading into the back.

Your signature is on your shots - knew it was yours from the thumbnail! The foreground reds are luscious, and once again I am drawn to the patchwork landscape. Smile
