Thank you for your c&c on yesterday’s white blossom. While walking in the Tengchih Forest in the mountains in south Taiwan, I came across some begonias on the aptly named “Begonia Trail”. It must have been the end of the season as there were just a few.
Tengchih Forest Recreation Area covers a wide range of trees and flora as it starts at an altitude of 500m up to just above 1800m. The area includes a rich natural broad-leaf forest and great diversity of flora. There is a rich variety of animal life: birds, frogs, butterflies, insects and snakes.
Hoping you’ll enjoy this begonia.
