Thank for your time and comments on my series of photos of the tree fern. I’m very pleased not to be the only one fascinated by ferns especially at the early stage of uncurling.
These toad lilies were taken while walking in the mountains in Lanyu/Orchid Island. I was looking forward to capture a fluttering butterflies and found those lilies. I was very excited as I had seen some for the first time in a beautiful garden in Wiltshire near Bath (Peto Garden at Iford Manor: http://www.ephotozine.com/u55553/gallery/1031796)
In the wild they are smaller plant than the cultivated ones but the thrill is to see the ”real thing”!
f11 1/160sec spot metering zoom at 300mm
Hoping you’re going to enjoy these photos.
Have a pleasant evening,
Jean-Noël
