If I got it right, this butterfly today is a pactolus hainani Bethune-Baker (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae). A small butterfly but what a long and complicated name!
It is supposed to be a rare lycaenid butterfly in Taiwan. Well for me rare or not rare does not really matter as it was a real delight to see it and even better to get a decent shot of it.
I took the photo last January in the same area as the previous butterflies posted recently (Maolin in Taiwan)
