Thank you once again for your response and comments on the butterflies from Maolin in Taiwan.
While walking at the end of the afternoon along the Duona river in the Hongcheng Gorge near the village of Duona, I got very excited when I saw this most amazing moth. The wingspan is about 10cm! I had never seen anything like it! It was very obliging as it let me take many photos.
This beautiful moth does not have a mouth so cannot feed. Its life is very short: about a week. I feel very privileged to have seen one.

Hoping you will like this surprising moth.
Have a pleasant evening,
Jean-Noël
