During his life, Confucius had around 3,000 students. Today, people continue to study his philosophy. He is considered a teacher for all generations. He believed that education should be available to all and not just the wealthy.

The photo (V1) was taken inside the Ta Cheng Temple looking towards the Ta Cheng Gate. I love those doors in Asian temples.


The photos in the other versions show the tablets given to Confucius by emperors. Because of the high status of Confucius, only tablets granted by an emperor are allowed here.

I like the intriguing little details that you are including in these sets, V4 is a gem. But V1 is the winner, for the cool quiet, shady space. I want to be there...
