Gorgeous! I am always amazed at the colours, variety of markings and the delicacy of these creatures. You've captured this one well, and the flower is wonderful too. I think I may have cloned out the stem of grass on the right, but that is just my personal opinion! Good shot.

Lovely detailed capture, well set against o.o.f. b/g. A nicely composed image. I, too would have cloned out the r.h. stem, on the grounds that it chops the composition and it wouldn't be tampering with the actual subject. Just a tiny presentation issue. It doesn't alter the fact that this a clear, crisp well taken shot.

Thanks for your comments and advice, Karen and Andrew . I do not have PhotoShop or any such software so I could crop the photo. JeanNoelC

Love the colours in this image, shame you don't have the software to crop the image as it would give it more impact.

Shame you couldn't crop but still a great shot

The butterfly is perfetly captured, a good pose, but the thing I like most is the coloour of the scabious flower (if that is what it is, not been to the Pyrenees). I think I might have cropped off that spare stalk on the right, gone for a square format.
