A boat trip is a must when you’re in Kununurra. You can hire a boat on the shores of Lily Creek Lagoon and you slowly reach Kununurra Lake.

The boat was a flat bottom boat looking more like a floating pontoon than a boat. It had lots of space, toilets and a barbecue which is quite essential in Australia! You just need to come equipped with food and some wine or beer and you’re away for the day! You can even have a dip in the lovely and cool water!

Some people who live there can afford fast boats and travel up river to Lake Argyle (see photos of Lake Argyle in Australia 2011 album).
