Tolmer Falls is certainly one of the most spectacular falls in Litchfield national Park. You can only access the bottom of the waterfall accompanied by a permitted guide as Tolmer Gorge is inhabited by colonies of rare Ghost Bats and Orange Horseshoe Bats.

Human presence in the gorge may cause them to abandon roosting sites and threaten their survival.
