We visited Morston Quay at the weekend with John [Scallop] and Alison [freezing cold]. No shots to really get excited about, this was probably the best of the bunch. Thought I'd upload it to see if it got any comments. Thanks for looking.

Love the composition of the boat in the foreground, leading your eye into the shot. Nudging the shot a touch higher would have prevented the top of the walkway being cropped - just a thought.

Nice colours too.

Nice composition, Joan, with a lovely, almost monochromatic effect. I like the one splash of red in the FG boat.

Like it,nice shot

Yes good approach - feel however that the full shot of the foreground boat could have been cropped in half with more area to the right - just a thought - as their is such a dominant draw to the foreground ??

Sorry missed this. Not bad for someone with gloves on AND NO TRIPOD!!!

Great colour and detail Joan. I might have taken the shot from a little further back and more to the left. The boat would still have led you in, which it currently does admirably; you would have not had the walkway cropped quite so close and it would have widened the gap between the boats and spread the interst a little more across the frame. Currently I feel the interest is concentrated in a band down the middle.

Having said all that it's really personal taste. Well captured
Malcolm

I can see what you mean Malcolm, you've got a good point. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Regards.
