As we don't get lilac here in Oz this was a delight to see in New Zealand.
The blooms were particularly high to capture close up hence the cirrius as the background.

Thanks again for all you kind comments on yesterdays Clematis, most appreciated and varied.

Not so easy to get a good shot of lilac without a step ladder attached to your backpack, JoceliaWinkWink. but this shot against the cloud marled sky is very effective.
