Another Walk

Here are a few more shots from a walk we took with my brother in law and his family while on holiday in West Cork last August.

We pulled off the main road between Goleen and Schull and drove down a laneway to a tiny beach where we abandoned the cars and headed off on foot with the children and the dog.

We walked along tiny laneways and paths until we came upon a small cove with a roughly built jetty where a small boat was tied up. There were lobster pots, nets and plastic boxes with the logo of a fishing co-op printed on their sides. This little cove was the work place of a small time local fisherman.

To people like us who live life on the treadmill of work and family responsibilities, this seemed like a perfect little oasis of peace and quiet.
