Here's another one from the schools' rugby match I shot during the week. All those specs in the image are rain drops - it was absolutely lashing out of the heavens! They had just turned on the lights but the light level was very poor. I like to keep the shutter speed at about 1/1,000th sec or better to really freeze the action so I had to crank the ISO up to 6400 but that's not a problem for a Nikon D3.

The game itself was like a war in the trenches and this was the only try scored. The winning team was our own local school and even though none of my children were involved we are all very proud of these boys.
