At last got a pair of Bull Finch in the garden. This is the first time I have managed to get one on a branch as they are normally on the ground picking up seed which has fallen out of the feeders.

Fantastic capture, so nice to catch them on a tree rather than on feeders. I'd be tempted to recrop this rotated CCW slightly to straighten up that trunk on the left.

John, this is fantastic. You are so lucky to have these visiting - just watch Jasper :0( You have some lovely and well deserved comments. The only thing I would have done to this image is clone out the light foliage area and the wood on the bottom r/h side, but it's still a brilliant image. See you very soon X

Thanks for all of your great comments. I was going to clone out the right hand side,but thought the area was to big so left it.Just looked out of the window now and seen 3 male Bull finch.
