A group of penguins is called a 'waddle'. This particular group of curious Adelie penguins came in for a closer look at us when we called out to them using our best penguin impersonation! Location: McMurdo Sound (on the sea ice), East Antarctica.

That's a new one for me......a waddle of penguins, but how appropriate.
Difficult image to capture, exposure must have been a headache to get this effect with the birds showing up against an almost uniform white backdrop.
Very effective image with all these varying postures.
