From having a solitary Robin Erithacus rubecula, calling in now and again, the current cold spell has brought four in to The Coppice
Went up with the sole intention of assembling the new perch platform, but after an hour's toil, I was as warm as toast, so thought I would try it out.
Silly me had made it to high, but I stuck with it, until I couldn't feel my fingers and toes.
The basic principle of it worked a treat
After I had packed up for the day, I altered it, so at least it is now ready for the next session, which maybe early pm tomorrow
A clay shoot in the adjacent field in the morning and Dan's football is off anyway.
