I think this is a stunning image - I do think you need to decide which is more important that amazing couldron of foaming brine in the fg (which for me makes this image) or the wonderfully moody sky. The reason I beleive you need to do this is because i I think the two elements compete too much and you need to goive priority to one or the other and then crop top down or bottom up. I also think this will move the subject away from the centre line which may also be helpful.

It is such a stunning image it has just got to be worth spending a little more time with it - god I wish I had taken something like this - wonderful stuff.
