To me this looks like trees in stormy, other-world landscape.
Same basic treatment as yesterday's upload but toned with different colours.
Comments and critique welcome.
Prefer this one John.
A better treatment, I think.
Indeed a bit better, more knowable and imaginative alfred very well done
a bit too thrifty description on how done!
I really love this. It looks like a ghostly forest in an alien landscape. Nicely ambiguous and a suggestion of a moon. I think perhaps it's tide marks on sand, but I love how it can suggest a whole different idea.
Thanks for your comments.
K - yes, it is marks in the sand left by water running down the beach after the tide has receded.
Alfred - the original images have very low contrast. I used hisotogram adjustment to extend the tonal range and to expand the contrast. I then toned the result - in this case with a coloured layer consisting of blue, green and brown tones.
Love the effect and the image on the left just looks like a person.
Super calss work
How about putting a long haired blond in a long diaphanous dress where the right hand 'tree' is having given her the same treatment? Possibly easier said than done
Hey, it's like trees playing volleyball!
could've sworn i clicked on this when you posted it!?
great ghostly, or trees moving/alive effect, can't decide which
