Today a GSW. I am playing with composition so would really appreciate any constructive comments on whether this works and if not how it could. From my perspective I really like it but of course I am bias.

Thank you for all the attention on the Nuthatch, very much appreciated.

I think this is excellent. So clear and sharp and very well composed. I think you can "feel" if something's just right, and this is. Smile

The composition works for me but advice on that is best left to those expert in this field, David.
For me though it's a very crisp image, the colours faithfully recorded,

This David is nothing short of Superb.
The exposure is spot on and gradiated Bg with its subtle browns and greens is a work of art.

Lovely shot Dave with superb detail and a great bg. The shot is ok as you have produced it, personally I would have a tighter crop, but that's all down to personal preference, there will be many who prefer it as you've done it. WinkWink

First of all David, the three contributes to the image are all spot on.

Some might say, trim a tad of the LHS, but apart from losing the shape of the perch, the bird is slightly looking to the left and needs omething to look into

If owt, I would say an inch of the top might be better, but that is just my personal opinion
