Managed a couple of hours in the hide today and was rewarded with this lovely little fellow.

Thanks for all your enthusiasm on the Red Pole, very kind.

Thanks for taking a look, all input very gratefully received.

David

Nuthatches are the contortionists of the bird world, managing to perch in the most unlikely spots........well that's my opinion in my total ignorance of all things avian.
The elements of the shot are so well positioned in the frame, the bird sitting snugly in the curve of the timber perch and 'pointing' across the vacant space.
They don't come much better than this, David.
Ronnie.

Top class wildlife image, David. Razor sharp with lovely natural plumage colours. Love the way the curve in beautifully textured perch complements the pose of the bird.
