A happy New Year to all.

A Hogmanay late afternoon image as the sun goes down for the last time on 2012..........by the way, the big tree is the same one as featured in Sulphurous Sunset.

My thanks to all who commented on Farewell to 2012 and special thanks to Louise {looloobey} for her User Award.

PS. No idea what our sunset was like tonight, very heavy overcast and we have about 8 to 10cm. snow on the ground, temp. around -6C with strong north west wind......brrrrrr!

A very fine captures Ronnie and a great way to throw out the old and bring in the new. You have captured an excellent sky here and I really like the composition. This would make a fine greetings/thank you/ card. It also proves once more that there is sometimes light on the dark side Tongue Wink , this could lead to your honorary title being revoked!!
