This is rather nice, Rod. A delightfully calm feel to it, in spite of the youthful energy of the river. Quite painterly too, and the delicate palette gives it a light, airy feel.

Yes, Allright Rodney, I maybe a city boy but I do know what a river is. Is infant Dee the sister of Moses? Can't see her or her basket. You have fine rivers & you use their water to make the worlds best whiskey. My local river is the Lee, rubbish for whiskey but we do export the water to M East, where, without much effort, they turn it into chemical weapons. You rivers are OK but they just seem to comprise water & fish, ours contain so much more; shopping trolleys, dead bikes, various body parts & discaded murder weapons. By the Way, our London River is unique, the only river in the world walked upon by Si, no, I didn't used to be JC, but was there when it froze over, 50+ yrs ago. PS; the tree on exteme R is pissed, there you go, that's what 10mm lenses do. Bottom line; Ignore the above, great picture. Si
