Thanks for your advice Michael i'll give it a go and see what it looks like. Having a little trouble with shapness too if you have any advice on that too. cheers, John.

Hi John,

I'm not really the man to ask regarding sharpness. I'm reasonably good at extracting sharpness from my images and have have improved greatly recently, but there are probably many other people who are more clued up than I. You should post in the forum asking for help as I'm sure you'll get plenty of great advice.

Sharpness....before you've finally closed the image go to "enhance" unsharp mask, then the settings need to be around...168 to 175 (amount) then somewhere between 3 and 5 (radius) and then 1 (threshold). That's assuming you're using PS. See if that works, it's the setting I usually use.
On this shot...you'd benefot from a ngrad filter to help control the exposure of the sky
