Immaculate detail in this puffin portrait, a great catch indeed
Top-notch shot of a puffin. Quite a classic and incredibly sharp.
He looks faintly surprised, as if he can't quite work out what to do next to get the fish down his throat.
Apparently the most sand-eels recorded in one puffin's beak at one time is 61 so they do have a healthy appetite.
